La France is a kind of pear and has an elegant fragrance, sweetness and mellow texture.
Their colors and shapes are not uniform and their appearances are not good, but due to its unique aroma and smooth fruit pulp with dripping juice, it is also known as “butter pair”.
When wrinkles appear around the pear axis, press the raised part with your finger. If it becomes as soft as an earlobe, it is a sign that you can eat.
The main apple cultivar "Fuji" has a plenty of scarlet nectar in the fruit pulp and is highly appreciated in Japan for its good taste.
The harvest season is from mid-November to mid-December.
The nectar in the fruit decreases little by little after harvesting, so please eat it as soon as possible.
